[gate-users] root to interfile

Dear GATE and STIR users,
I am using GATE to simulate hr+ scanner. Using STIR software I can
reconstruct ecat 7 output. I do need additional information which is not
accessible in ecat7 sinograms but I can get from the root output. Has
anybody had any experience in writing the sinograms from the root output and
then reconstructing using STIR software.
Any suggestions/information would be very helpful.
