[gate-users] Rotation problem

For a scanner I am trying to model in Gate, I have a trapezoid I would
like to repeat in a ring around the z-axis. In order to do this, I first
need to rotate the module around the y-axis (or x). However, when
repeating it subsequently around the z-axis using the ring-repeater with
the auto-rotation option on, the trapezoid itself is rotated around the
y-axis. I have attached an illustration that shows the problem for a
cylinder. (Cylinders have the same problem.)

Does anyone know of a way to do this? Any help would be very much
appreciated.

Regards,

Jan

PS Placing the trapezoid in a box that is repeated is not possible,
since the boxes would then overlap, because the trapezoids are placed
too close to each other.
