Dear Stefaan,
The density of the LYSO complex Lu2(x)Y2(1-x)SiO5 (x in the range 0 to
1) depends of the fraction of Lu (x) and Y (1-x). It depends more or
less linearly on (x) between the density of YSO (with 0% Lu and 100% Y:
4.45 gr/cc) and that of LSO (with 100% Lu and 0% Y: 7.4 gr/cc). So when
you speak about LYSO, you should always precise the fraction of Lu (x)
or of Y (1-x).
Best regards,
Christian Morel
