The existing STIR code to read LMF and convert it into sinograms is not
yet public domain. This version would not handle Advance/Discovery data
anyway. The STIR code that has been sent around would be able to output
an interfile sinogram with the same conventions as used for the
Advance/Discovery, but not in VOLPET format (but Interfile). That would
of course be ok for STIR, but not for GE programs.

It appears this is not easy to get this info unfortunately.
