Hi Spyros Boukis,

You have to set the environment variable G4LEDATA. This should point to the directory where u have unzipped the data files .

the command usually is like "setenv G4LEDATA /home/amar/geant/data/G4EMLOW2.2" for c shell.

If you have not downloaded the data files please do that from the gate website.

Hope this helps

  Subject: [gate-users] benchmarkPET problem

  Hello everyone,

When i am trying to run benchmarkPET.mac using the command:

  Gate benchmarkPET.mac

  this error apears:

  G4CompositeEMDataSet - data file: /root/geant4/geant4.5.2/data/G4EMLOW2.3/rayl/re-ff-1.dat not found
  G4Exception: Aborting execution
  Abort

I 'm sure that Geant4 works fine and that data files are installed. Actually the dat file: "re-ff-1.dat" exists in that particular path. Does anyone have any idea? I really stuck with that...

  Best Regards,
