[gate-users] using ECAT7 output of gate in STIR

Hello ,

1. I ran the "PET_Ecat_Sample.mac" sample (in examples folder) through
Gate and have got the "Your_Ecat_File.S" output. How do I run STIR
reconstruction program on this file. 

(Note: I have installed STIR. I used OSMAPSL_MRP.par file found in the
samples directory of STIR.I modified the input file name to
Your_Ecat_File.S .When I run sensitivity OSMAPSL_MRP.par the output is

ProjData::read_from_file could not read projection data
Your_Ecat_File.S.
Unsupported file format? Aborting.
Abort

)

How should I do this/


2. Do I have to convert ECAT7 to interfile format?

3. Is the procedure in STIR to read LMF file format available or has
anybody have alternatives for that?
