[gate-users] SPECT

Dear GATE users:


I am trying to to use the SPECT benachmark ... I wanted to test out some 
things so I took out the collimator and the shield ..... and made 
SPECThead out of air ....when I do this, I have NO hits recorded in the 
crystal (I deduce this by looking at the SIngles energy spectrum 
...which is empty).  However, I definetely had hits when I had both the 
shielding and the collimator.  If I take out just the collimator, I also 
get NO hits.  However, if I make the crystal a daughter of the shielding 
(and use no collimator again) I again record hits in the crystal ......

Any ideas about what's going on here ????
