Dear users,
I am trying to find some resources that talk about the LOR data to sinogram
data transformation for Plane PET modules with maximum sensitivity in 3D.
The given data is (Y, Z) is positions data of detected coincidence1 and
coincidence2 on detector-1 and on detector-2( because I know the crystal
positions as my detector is in the YZ plane and the X-axis represents the
spacing between two detectors ). Also, detector spacing is known. I want
to learn how GATE converts the LORs to sinograms in the case of plane
systems. I want to apply the same scheme to the coincidence data by myself
in the analysis. e.g. If Two PET modules are in the YZ plane, how should I
make a 3D sinogram storage scheme? Any reference or experience will be
great. I have attached the geometrical view of my detector in the email.
Regards
Atiq ur Rahman
