Thank you for letting me know.

I was wrong.

As you told me, I set up the Elliptical Tube.




But I got a error.　It works with other volumes, and the Elliptical Tube setting is not working.

Are there any other commands required?

The ‘Elliptical Tube’ in Geant4 is NOT hollow. 




It seems fairly clear from table 2.2 in section 2 of the documentation that the one in GATE similarly is also not hollow, as it is defined by 3 parameters: “setLong”, “setShort” and “setHeight”.

The CYLINDER phantom doesn't seem to be an ellipse, the ELLIPSOID phantom is a sphere, and the ELLIPTICAL TUBE phantom has a hollow inside.
Is it better to make the ELLIPSOID phantom very long and cut the top and bottom?
