Dear Gate users,

I am trying to evaluate the effects of nanoscale dose deposition on the radio-amplification effects of AGuIX nanoparticles.
To do so, I model one nanoparticle of radius 2 nm in water and I am trying to understand the differt actors Gate offers in ordre to register :

1) the number of ionisations per J/kg ;
2) the deposit of energy around one nano depending on the type of secondary electron after 1 ionisation.

I would also be interested in calculating the probability of different numbers of electrons being emitted from a nanoparticle following an ionisation.

How would you advise me to go about it? I tried different approaches: adding a phase space actor on the nanoparticle or befor and after the nanoparticle.
I also concider modeling my nanoparticle as a phase space source.
But I'm a little lost when it comes to the parameters to use in order to record 1) and 2).

Would anyone have any advice for me?

Thank you very much for the help,
Regards,

Sarah Blind
