[Gate-users] Hackers ...

Dear all,


We learned this morning that Gate source code - the program that makes Gate
work - has been leaked publicly by unidentified hackers.


We are continuing to investigate the cause, but have so far discovered that
someone, called “git” who appears to be the leader of the group, has publicized
the code here <https://github.com/OpenGATE/Gate>. This breach allows
everyone to perform high-level medical physics simulations, both nuclear
imaging and radiation therapy. Be careful!
