Hi Tahereh,

Have you included a file to convert between the voxel values in your image and the materials?  I get the same error message if I miss the line

/gate/patient/PHANTOM_NAME/setHUToMaterialFile PhantomHU2mat.txt,

or if there is a problem with the HU2mat file. The HU2mat file should be a list of voxel value ranges and their corresponding material in your material file. There are some examples on the GATE  Github, e.g. in https://github.com/OpenGATE/GateContrib/tree/master/dosimetry/doseactor/voxelized-phantom

Dear Gate users;

I'm using Gate version 7.2 on an Oracle VM virtual box machine and I
am trying to simulate a PET scan. I have followed the user's guide
instructions to define the voxelized phantom and source.  But I get
this error when running the mac file:
since the release 9.5 - Need to be fixed

 Data file name         'hoffman_phantom.i33'
 Nb of planes:           19
 Nb of pixels per plane: 196 196
 Pixel size:             1.25 1.25

 Machine byte order:     LITTLEENDIAN

[Core-0] "LoadImageMaterialsFromRangeTable" = [
LoadImageMaterialsFromRangeTable ]
GateVImageVolume.cc (l.637):  I find R=0 in the image, while range stop at -1

Error opening file.
     LITTLEENDIAN

Can anyone help me?
