[Gate-users] OMEGA v.1.2 released

Dear GATE users,

I'm pleased to announce the release of v.1.2 of OMEGA - Open-source MATLAB/Octave Emission and Transmission Tomography Software. This release enables support for transmission tomography, e.g. computed tomography (CT), reconstruction. GATE related new features include:

  *   Support for GATE imageCT projection files. Automatically load and reconstruct imageCT projection data in MATLAB/GNU Octave.
  *   Support for MuMap actor output in PET attenuation correction.

Other features added are, for example

  *   New algorithm, PKMA, and new prior, the relative difference prior.
