Hi,
I have a cylindrical stainless-steel cell that is filled with liquid argon. I want to attach a 100% reflecting coating on the inside of the stainless-steel cell so the scintillation photons generated from liquid argon will be reflected.
I tried to attach an optical surface of type=dielectric- metal and finish=polished (see Surface.xml attached ), with Reflectivity set to 1 and efficiency set to zero but It seems the optical surface does not do anything. I do not get any errors when I run my macro (see attached) and the optical physics and flag are turned on.
Does anyone know why the optical surfaces do not work? I am using vGATE 9.0.
Best
Theo
