[Gate-users] Cylindrical cell placement problem

Hi,

I want to make a cylindrical PET in which the shape of the cells is cylindrical. When I tried to repeat the cells in a ring format, the cells are not projected correctly, even with the auto-rotation command, see image 1 and macro test testCylinder.mac.

If I enclose the cylinder in a box the projection of the repeated cylindrical volumes is correct (see image 2 and testCylinderInBox.max), and that does not make sense to me.

I even tried a trapezoid shape and the same behaviour is observed, see Images 3 and 4. Is that normal?
