hi Gate-users and experts,
I want to validate CTDIvol in body phantom -32cm- used for CT by using
Gate. I created a source and bowtie-filter, collimator..everything is in
rotation about table and body-phantom-32..i created also body phantom with
the 5 hole.center, 3h.6h, 9h and 12h....my problem is that the dose
simulated in center hole was higher than measured dose. and higher than the
simulated dose in peripheral holes..in contrast, for measured dose in the
center hole was lower than peripheral doses..what do you think?

When I calculate the simulated CTDI using normalisation factor it matches
the measured CTDI.

is it normal or not?..and can i validate my simulation just by CTDI and
neglecting the differences observed in the center hole.?

Thank you for your help,
