Hello Mohamad,

"Vgate" (virtual Gate) is meant to be used only for learning/teaching purposes. If you would like to deploy Gate on a cluster, then Vgate is not the right installation for you.

If your cluster supports Docker (https://opengate.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docker_gate.html), then you could have a look at the docker containers for Gate.

If you cannot or prefer not to use docker, then you need to compile & install Gate for the cluster you work with. This is a bit of work (see https://opengate.readthedocs.io/en/latest/general.html) but if you have big plans that require using a cluster, then this is probably a useful investment of your time.

Good luck!
/David

Subject: [Gate-users] Parallel Computing

Hello Gate Users,
i am trying to use Vgate on a server computer but i noticed that it uses only once CPU as you can see in the attached photo. so, anyone can give me a hit or tutorial of how can i do a parallel simulation.
Best Regards
