[Gate-users] simulate dynamic ARC with MLC control points help

Hi

I have modelled my MLC leaves individually (STL) and imported each leaf
into the GATE mac file. With this I can run a simulation for static MLC
leaves.

However, for a dynamic MLC VMAT, as an example I want to simulate a simple
dynamic VMAT plan with a simple ARC made up of 6 control points where the
MLC positions and gantry angle change.

What I am doing now is breaking down the arc to control points and trying
to simulate each control point but I think I need to use
"genericRepeaterMove" or "genericMove" ?

Questions:

1) Do I make one placement file for each MLC leaf ?
2) How do you calculate the time slices ?
3) In the example placements file in [REF 1] below, do the repeated columns
correspond to the individual MLC leaves?
4) How should I design this placement file or time slice file given I am
running on a condor cluster (60 nodes) ?
Thanks for your help in advance
