[Gate-users] Next GATE training for beginners

Dear all,

From November 17 to November 19 2020, a GATE training for beginners is organized in Clermont-Fd (France), programme and registration AVAILABLE <https://cnrsformation.cnrs.fr/gate-training-on-medical-imaging-dosimetry-radiation-therapy?mc=GATE%20Training>

The training is open to students, researchers, engineers, physicians and medical physicists from public laboratories, universities or private companies. The training is dedicated to beginners (20 attendees maximum), you will learn how to use the platform for different applications: dosimetry, imaging and radiation therapy (we will adapt the course regarding your field of activities). You should come with your laptop and install the last GATE virtual machine (9.0). If you encounter any problem with the installation or you don’t have any laptop, don’t worry, we are able to provide you the necessary equipment.

The training is 1000 € including taxes (no taxes for french public institution). Lunches and coffee breaks are included in the cost of the training.

After completing your registration on the web site, you will receive a registration form that you have to complete and send it back to CNRS Formation in order they provide you an invoice for the payment. 


Regarding the sanitary conditions with COVID19, we will eventually take the decision to postpone the training or to provide the tutorial online for non french users. For online tutorial, we would reduce the training fees to 500€.
