[Gate-users] problematic behavior of deadtime in PET detector

Hi Zhhengzhi,

You perform the integration and apply the dead time at the highest level of
the system (at the crystal level). The higher the dead time is modeled in
the geometry, the lower the count loss is for a given dead time. At first
glance, your results don't seem so inconsistent to me.

Why do you want to model the dead time at the crystal level ? Have you
tried to model the dead time at a lower level in your geometry (the modules
for example) ?
