[Gate-users] Spatial resolution and sensitivity

Hi All,

  I am modeling a Siemens PET system and want to obtain the spatial
resolution and sensitivity by the below formula. Could anyone please let me
know how to obtain the reconstruction factor (α) and background count rate
for positron decay (RB) ?

Spatial resolution = α x (sqrt ((d/2) 2 + b 2 + s 2 + (0.0022D)))

S = ( R true + R scatter − RB) / A × β
