[Gate-users] Custom Actors with Gate version 8?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences creating custom 
actors. I've created one, but I can't seem to get Gate to recognize it. 
I'm using Gate version 8 and I added the GateCustomActor.cc and the 
GateCustomActorMessenger.cc files to /gate_v8.0/source/digits_hits/src 
and the GateCustomActor.hh file to 
/gate_v8.0/source/digits_hits/include. Then I just recompiled Gate with 
cmake. However, when I run my simulation I get the error:

  <!> *** WARNING *** <!>  Actor type: CustomActor does not exist!

Does anyone know if I'm missing a step? I think my .cc and .hh files are 
correct because my colleague used them in the past with Gate v6.1, but I 
can't seem to get them to work now. Any help would be appreciated!
