[Gate-users] BAD Sinograms for PET using Bin_GATE.c

Dear Gaters,

After simulating a point source acquisition with mCT model, I binned my
sinograms from ROOT output using Bin_GATE.c from OpenGates' website, BUT
when displaying them, while those corresponding to segments close to zero
are fine, those corresponding to segments with large obliquity doesn't look
good. I attached 4 pictures corresponding to segment-26 sinograms in 4
axial positions (4 oblique slices). One can clearly note that the sinogram
in this segment is spread over several axial positions (and each axial
position contains counts in juste part of azimuthal angles 'phi' ), and the
4 axial positions are complementary. TAn image of the effect on the
reconstructed image is also attached.

If anyone who was confronted with the same problem could kindly share his
experience to solve this.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Mohamed
