[Gate-users] Preferred commands over deprecated commands v9.0

Hi all,

I have recently updated Geant4 and GATE to the newest releases and have made some corresponding changes to my macros although I am unclear on some changes. When issuing the command “/gate/source/spectrum/gps/energytype UserSpectrum”, I receive the warning that energytype is being deprecated, use ene/type instead. When I use ene/type, UserSpectrum is not in the candidate list. Also, when I add the RadioactiveDecay process to the physics list, a deprecation warning for G4RadioactiveDecay is issued with instructions to replace it with G4RadioactiveDecayBase (for unbiased decay). So, if they are available, what are the preferred methods to define a discrete spectrum and radioactive decay moving forward?

Thank you,
Matthew
