[Gate-users] Optical transport using GPU

Hi Gate users, 

Currently, I am working with Portal imaging in LINAC systems and I
encounter several drawbacks regarding the simulation time of the
detection process. I would like to try a GPU based simulation in order
to speed up the optical transport simulation times in the scintillators
. Has someone experience in GPU implementations for optical
applications who can give me some guidelines or ideas about it?  

Also in the mailing list, I found some references to http://ggems.fr/but I couldn't find the software or any update information. 

I really appreciate any ideas or suggestions you could provide me.
