Dear 라이노,

I am assuming it is a PET simulation.

For dealing with ASCII (.dat) file please read "Data Ouput"
chapter of GATE manual where you will find information about 'what column
means what data' (e.g., in coincidence data file column 18 denotes number
of Compton interactions inside phantom if your system is cylindricalPET,
etc). Depending on that you can write MATLAB script to know the amount of
trues, scatter, and random coincidences.

For ROOT output file you can use Bin_GATE_v1.0.c code written
by* "Prof. Sadek Nameah"* (can be download it from GATE website). But you
have to set the DLS parameters appropriately with respect to your PET
system. I guess if ROOT is installed then through opening the output root
file in TBrowser we can tell the number of trues, scatters, and randoms.
But I have not tried it. Let me know what process you have followed.

Cheers
Satyajit
