Hi

I discover this one. Too late response but I thought useful for the list.

The development version of stir (http://github.com/UCL/STIR) can now read ROOT files (if the ROOT library was detected when building STIR) natively (thanks to Nikos Efthimiou!). Standard STIR utilities and code work therefore on ROOT files (including listmode reconstruction and lm_to_projdata). You need to create a small text file with info on the ROOT file. There’s an example in STIR/examples/samples.
