[Gate-users] Tc99m Simulation

Furthermore, attached is the energy spectrum I get for Tc99m.
The phantom I'm simulating is self-dose to the spleen. I have Tc99m (defined as an ion) within the spleen and I'm calculating its self-dose.

Why does the spectrum look like this? ( have pasted it as text below if the image does not work.)

All - I have tried to simulate Tc99m using an ion source (/gate/source/src_spleen/gps/ion 43 99 0 142.7), but I think I am getting too much energy deposited. Other ions are working correctly compared to published data for a phantom I'm using. My results are much higher for Tc99m than the published phantom data.

Alternatively, when I set the source as just a 140keV gamma source, my result is 65% less than the published data.

Any thought? What is the correct way to simulate a Tc99m source?
