Hi Jakub,


If you are in a hurry: install the "vv" project (code and install instructions at https://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr/rio/vv) which not only provides a "4D slicer" image viewer but also a large number of "command line ITK" tools. One of those tools is "clitkDicomRTPlan2Gate", which converts DICOM plan files into Gate-readable spot specification text files. Building VV from source is not entirely trivial, you need to follow the instructions quite precisely, especially regarding the configuration of ITK and VTK.


We are in the process of converting (a subset of) these "command line ITK" tools to Python (so that they can simply be installed like "pip install GateTools"), and if you have a few weeks of patience then the RT plan converter should be part of that tool collection.
