Hi Asra,
You could just change the surface of of the source from 0.02 mm2 to 200 mm2 to make it equal to the surface of the irradiation field.
Please try to understand the code, you can modify it for your own.
Regards,

hi dear mahdjoub
this file define a cone beam. i want to define a source that use in radio therapy and cover actually a rectangular field like this picture.

Hi Asra,
Are you simulating a CBCT like scanner? If yes here a 120 kVp X-ray spectra covering a uniform rectangular field of view, which I built few years ago, to change the irradiation field you need to change irradiation angle and the source to FOV center distance.
Hope it helps,
Mahdjoub,

Does anyone else know how to simulate a source with rectangular cross section without using beam collimation.
Thanks & Regards
