[Gate-users] Compton continuum spectrum

Dear Gate users,

I have been recently struggling with Compton scattering. The source I used is the photon source (mono-energy, 0.511 MeV). When I use addProcess to add ONLY Compton scattering, the deposited energy labeled with Compton can be larger than 0.34 MeV while when I use addPhysicsList emstandard, there is NO hit whose deposited energy is larger 0.34 MeV and interaction type is Compton. The physics list builder emstandard contains, from the source code of Geant4 and Gate, the SAME Compton scattering as the one that we use addProcess Compton. But the output is different. Could anyone explain this?

Thanks

Youfang
