Updating my own questions š
For point 1, rebinning the histogram so that it for example uses 400 points instead of the default 100 points, I get the desired energy spectrum.

Subject: [Gate-users] Root question and shielding question
I have 2 questions.
1. When opening the energy spectrum of Tc99m using root, is there a way to get more data points to get a smooth curve, and not a step curve.
2. Back when I started to learn how to simulate a gamma camera, I tried using the SPECT example on gatecontrib. No matter how much I increased the activity and increased the step time, I never got anything when analysing the root file. I suspected there were no photons reaching the crystal, so I removed the shielding and then I started to get results. Is there a problem with the SPECT example that Iām not getting any information? Should the shielding be the same size as the SPECTHEAD?
Thanks,
Adolf
