Hello Sara and Nicolas,
I can see that your innerCylinder1 is not daughter of your TubeSource2. This way Forbid, cannot locate it.
Try to make innerCylinder1 daughter of the TubeSource2. Moreover, at the beginning, create a big enough source, in order to be able to tell for sure that innerCylinder1 irradiates or not.

We would like to simulate a cylindrical radioactive source having a hollow center without activity. We are using the cold source command "Forbid" on the region we wish to exclude from our source. However the background activity from the larger source still persists. Below you may find our code.
