Hello Dania,

It seems that you are using the wrong keywords for the attach command. You can check the possible keywords for different systems in Table 4.2 on this page:
http://wiki.opengatecollaboration.org/index.php/Users_Guide:Defining_a_system

In case of “OpticalSystem" the keywords are “crystal” and “pixel”, so you should try:

/gate/systems/System_1/crystal/attach         crystal_1
/gate/systems/System_1/pixel/attach         pixel_1


/gate/systems/System_2/crystal/attach         crystal_2

/gate/systems/System_2/pixel/attach         pixel_2
