[Gate-users] PETscanner- TOF - Cherenkov Photons Coincidences - SimulationStatisticActor

Dear gate users,

I'm using a PETscanner system in order to study the TOF of the Cherenkov
Photons coincidences.

I use my same macro that works with acceptable results for the TOF with 15
000 primary events but now with 100 000 primary events. My simulation at
some point stops and I can not understand why….

I'm also using the SimulationStatisticActor….

So, I can say that:

With the seed 1 my simulation stop at 19635 primary events. (20 min)

With the seed 2 my simulation stop at 26130 primary events. (30 min)

With the seed 3 my simulation stop at 27630 primary events. (40 min)

The most strange thing is that in the .root output for the 3 cases with
different seed I get for each one, the same amount of Singles and
Coincidences (14 000 Singles and 2 000 Coincidences) ….

I was expecting different results using different seeds….

I also tried to increase the default value of the Buffer (which is 512) ....

/gate/digitizer/Coincidences/setPresortBufferSize 1024

Again:

With the seed in 1 my simulation stopped, now at 28249 primary events. (50
min)

I also get the same amount of Singles and Coincidences in the .root output
….


I do not know what else to try here….

I need to be able to simulate with more statistics in order to compare with
the experimental results....

Any help I would appreciate….
