[Gate-users] Defining phase of material

Hi Clemens,

Could you elaborate on what kind of phases you work with, for what kinds 
of materials?

As far as I know, geant4 only cares about chemical composition, density, 
ionization energy etc, anything needed for calculation of "passage of 
radiation through matter". If these quantities are different between 
different phases (like between the solid and liquid phases of water at 
atmospheric pressure) then you just describe them with different materials.
