How do you synchronize a moving detector (SPECT) with a source (Proton Beam)?

I’m creating a simulation using a proton beam and a SPECT moving detector system.

When I run the simulation, the SPECT detector moves for the correct amount of time and then stops.
Then the proton beam starts after the SPECT system has stopped moving.
Then the particle tracks are displayed after these two systems have already run.

Does anyone know how to synchronize these systems to run at the same time??
(Visualizing with OGLSX).
