Hello,
You can try the commands of cold source, as shown here: http://wiki.opengatecollaboration.org/index.php/Users_Guide_V7.2:Source , if you want a mathematical phantom source.
Moreover, you could create a voxelized source, with any shape you like, using for example matlab.
