[Gate-users] How to record Time of Flight from a general scanner in Gate

Dear all,

I need to know how to record the time of flight (TOF) for each particle
reached the detector in *a general system (scanner)*. The TimeStamp
recorded in such Gate output as ASCII (or root, etc) seems to be the
accumulative time. In other words, the time point where the event was
created (global time) is recorded. I need to have the period between the
creation of the particle and its detection (TOF).
Since the recorded events in the output Singles are not essentially exactly
subsequent events reached the detector, so I can not subtract the
subsequent Time Stamps in the output and obtain the TOF for each event.
Does anybody have any clue about TOF?

Thank you in advance for any comments.

Best,
Sanam
