Hello Zeinab Telikani,
in fact, there are options to be set in the digitiser part.
You may have a look at the benchmark for SPECT,
where the following lines are copied from:

/gate/digitizer/Singles/spblurring/verbose 0
/gate/digitizer/Singles/insert thresholder

/gate/digitizer/Singles/insert upholder
/gate/digitizer/Singles/upholder/setUphold 190. keV
also, there is an example for SPECT you can find in every GATE
distribution.
