[Gate-users] DOTSKAN workshop: radiotherapy with proton pencil beams

Dear GATE users,

On March 2+3 we will hold a two-day workshop in Uppsala about 
radiotherapy with proton pencil beams (see attached invitation and very 
preliminary program). The last half day of this workshop is dedicated to 
radiotherapy functionality in GATE:

- Monte-Carlo particle beam modeling. How to efficiently and precisely 
reproduce the proton and particles beams of a facility ? For example, 
towards independent dose computation model.

- Monte-Carlo modeling of particle therapy specific imaging devices: 
in-beam PET, prompt-gamma imaging, proton radiography and proton CT.

- Monte-Carlo modeling of Relative Biological Effectiveness (RBE). 
Biological models, LET.

Deadline for registration is 16 February. If you wish to participate 
then it would help us tremendously if you do not wait till that deadline
