Hey
I am on holliday but it is rainy so I play with Gate...
I found something interesting with v8.0
If you use google sketchup (a tool to draw your "house"...) there is an
extension called CADspan that generates STL files. It is a Sketchup plugin,
easy to install.
This stl file can easily be inserted in GATE (tesselated tool).
*/gate/world/daughters/name
sketchupSolid/gate/world/daughters/insert
tessellated/gate/sketchupSolid/placement/setTranslation
1000.0 1000.0 0.0
mm/gate/sketchupSolid/geometry/setPathToSTLFile
data/untitled.stl/gate/sketchupSolid/setMaterial
Jaw/gate/sketchupSolid/vis/forceSolid 1*
This coud be useful to draw geometries for a PET/SPECT/Linac but also for
a bunker or many other things...
See image.
Hope it helps. And hope that the sun will be back soon :--)
Regards
L
