Dear Gate-Community,
I am currently using Gate V8.0 with the intention to simulate PET-scans for
the Siemens Ingenuinty TF PET/MR scanner. As an output I use list-mode-format
(LMF) (because our reconstruction algorithms uses this), which works with my
modelled cylindricalPET system.
The simulated list-mode-files should have the same structure as the ones
obtained from real scans of the Siemens Ingenuity.
My problem is that I cannot find any useful information about the structure of
the binary file (.css extension) that is produced when you select LMF as an
output and how one can modify it.
- In the GATE-manual there is a chapter about LMF-output (p. 328) and there is
a LMF library mentioned which I cannot find.
- In the FAQ section it says “it is recommended to read all documents related
to LMF and the P4.mac macro example availables on the OpenGATE main webpage”
which I also cannot find.
Maybe somebody has experience with this or found the needed documentation, I
would be very happy!
I would like to avoid going through the source code (GateToLMF) because I have
no experience with C++
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Julian
