[Gate-users] Installing GATE 8 with GPU support

Dear fellow Gate users,

I am struggling with installing GATE 8 on Ubuntu 16.04 with GPU support.

 I have installed:
 - ROOT 5.34/30
 - Geant4 10.3.2
 - ITK 4.10.1
 - RTK 1.2
 - CUDA 8 and SDK

In ccmake, I have set the according paths and
GATE_USE_GPU=ON
GATE_USE_ITK=ON
GATE_USE_RTK=ON.

`make` then raises an error about Gate_generated_GateGPUManager.cu.o.
See attached *error_1.log.*

When I turn the ITK and RTK flags *off* (as I don't really know what they
are for to be honest), the compilation reaches 100% and then raises error
about reference to `GateMessageManager`.
See attached *error_2.log.*

Has somebody else had similar problems or any idea what I can do?

Thank you very much for your help.

Kind regards
Clemens Schmid
