Hi everyone,
Currently I investigate positron range measurement in different media with ROOT file output. When I simulate for example F-18 in water with 5 million events, the output that of interest are Positron_annihil_distance(with histogram sign), and GATE tree file. However, there are 2 GATE tree files naming GATE;1 and GATE;2. Why there is such GATE 1 and GATE 2?
Another issue is, in the GATE tree file, there is also the leaf called posannihildist. I thought it is the same as Positron_annihil_distance(with histogram sign) until I noticed the difference of mean value in this respective file when I simulated O-15, C-11 and Ga-68 in lung.
What is this leaf file tell us?What is the different as compared to the Positron_annihil_distance(with histogram sign)?Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Regards,Rukiah
