[Gate-users] Analyzing 3D Dose in Octave

Thank you both for the response. Based on the GATE user guide, it looks
like the root file can only be used for 1D and 2D distributions. When I try
to get a 3D dose distribution by changing /gate/actor/doseDistribution/save
to a .txt file, it looks like I only get dose along the direction of beam
propagation. Can I create ASCII or other Octave-friendly files that will
give me the dose to a volume? Or is there a way to create a series of 2D
ASCII files that I can combine to make a 3D volume?
Thanks!
