[Gate-users] definition of a pencil beam source

Hello,

I would advise you to use the proposed example and modify setEnergy and setSigmaEnergy to values you like.
I also would advise you to start from Gate examples http://wiki.opengatecollaboration.org/index.php/GateRT like example 4: Beam optics simulation in vacuum for a pencil beam + depth-dose profile in water. A root macro is provided to analysis the produced phase space files (PhS-Analysis.C).

I read the manual but unfortunately I'm not able to define the Optical properties of pencil beam source .
I want to define a proton beam with a mean energy 62 MeV and Standard deviation 0.21

If possible, guide me how and according to what I can define these properties.
I realy appreciate your help.
