[Gate-users] PET Activity

Dear Ahmed,

The values in a dicom file are calculated using an intercept and a slope (http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/754). I don't know whether these are used in Gate or that Gate uses the stored values directly without adjustments. You can simply try this or check the source code for this.
Eventually these values will be converted using the command interfileReader/rangeTranslator/readTable, so in the end, the origin of the values does not matter too much since you'll be converting them to an activity range anyhow.

If you can't find the specific answer to your question regarding voxelized sources, I recommend working through the documentation and tutorials first. If it cant be found in there or the mailing list, your best bet is looking in the source code.
