[Gate-users] Phase space position (input)

It looks like your translation is at z=0:
/gate/beam1/placement/setTranslation 0 60 0 cm

Please try something like
/gate/beam1/placement/setTranslation 0 60 10 cm
And check if particles start at z=10 cm.

Sincerely,
Loïc

Hello,

Thanks for your answer ; I tried to attach the phase space to a volume, but my beam still starts at z = 0. The visualization is correct with /gate/source/clinaciX1/visualize (I can see a point at the good position). But when I want to see the beam, all particles come from z=0, to positive z values. That's the same in my dose actor.

Here is the beam part of my code:

#beam 1
/gate/world/daughters/name beam1
/gate/world/daughters/insert box
/gate/beam1/vis/forceSolid
/gate/beam1/vis/setColor yellow
/gate/beam1/geometry/setXLength 1 cm
/gate/beam1/geometry/setYLength 1 cm
/gate/beam1/geometry/setZLength 1 cm
/gate/beam1/placement/setTranslation 0 60 0 cm
/gate/beam1/placement/setRotationAxis 1 0 0
/gate/beam1/placement/setRotationAngle 90 deg

/gate/source/addSource clinaciX1 phaseSpace
/gate/source/clinaciX1/setPhaseSpaceInWorldFrame
/gate/source/clinaciX1/addPhaseSpaceFile ../transfo_IAEA_ROOT/PSF_iX_6MV_10x10_final.root
/gate/source/clinaciX1/attachTo beam1
/gate/source/clinaciX1/visualize 2000 yellow 10

Could you help me ?

Hello,
Did you try to attach the PhS to a volume and rotate/translate the volume?
Sincerely,
Loïc

Dear Gate users,
Is there a solution to modify the input phase space position (in translation or rotation), for radiotherapy application?
It is different from other sources or beams, and I can't find anything about that in the wiki.
Thanks in advance for your answer
