[Gate-users] Issue with GateHounsfieldMaterialTable (CT import)

No, I only tried with Gate 7.0 ; I have an issue with Gate v7.1 and the last version of Geant4 (problem with the patch 01, already mentioned in another thread).
I will try your suggestion as soon I will be able to install Gate 7.1
Do you know where I could download Geant4 10.1 without the last patch ?

maybe. Please ensure that this is Gate 7.1 (or the develop branch of the git) and try to run examples/example_Radiotherapy/example2 from the source code to see if it happens ?

Hello,

when converting HU to material, Gate read a txt file with the setHUToMaterialFile function. This file (sometimes named patient-HU2mat.txt in some examples) is made with several lines, each line start with a range of HU [a:b] -> material . It requires that the ranges are contiguous, so a is equal to previous b.

Just check this file in your case

GateHounsfieldMaterialTable.cc (l.124): Current H1=-1050 is different from previous H2=-950. Abort.

This is a well-known issue, and according to some older threads in the mailing list, there is a patch to solve it. This patch has been created for an older version of Gate (6.0), can I use it with Gate 7.0 ?
It doesn't seem to change anything when I replace my GateHounsfieldMaterialTable file with the file from the patch.
Does anyone have another solution ?
